This is a 16 oz (.4536kg) bale of hay. I found that it was a bit less expensive than KayTee and very fresh.
The aroma was very good, and there were alot of the "seed tops" in it, which are a favorite of my pet.
It is 100% natural, and does have a use by date on the package.
I am very impressed by this product.
I found it at PetCo. The 16 oz bale was $4.99 (US) and the 4 pound bale was $12.69

I did not mention in my original report on this that it also is available in a 4 pound box...at least that is what the packaging on the package I bought says.
