Pros:

Very soft green hay. My piggies love it.

Cons:

shipping costs

I have fed my piggies little bags of pet store hay as well as different types of Oxbow hay but none are as green and soft as Kleenmama's. If I give them pellets and hay at the same time they all run for the hay.
Kleenmama has bluegrass, timothy, and a bluegrass/alfalfa mix in 9, 25 and 35 pound boxes. She also carries 45 pound bags of Proform pellets.
Handling is $3.00 per order plus standard ups shipping.
My piggies have been eating her hay since shortly after she started her business.

This hay is wonderful. The pigs love it.

Cons:

It can be a little pricey with shipping.

This is the best hay around. I have tried many different kinds, including Oxbow, but this hay is absolutely the best. I also use Kleenmama's pellets. They were also a huge hit with the piggies.

Pros:

Long Term EXTREMELY cheaper than getting from pet supply, even with shipping added. Less than half the cost of Oxbow
|
|
Cons:
|
Large quantity for best value require place for put 18 inch square box

First, you cannot GET bluegrass hay from anywhere else unless you live near a feed store that will have it in bales. Pet supplies don't carry it.
This stuff has zero stems and is very sweet smelling. My boys wouldn't touch it when I first got it, I think they were too young to try new hay. After a couple months I ran out of Timothy, and gave them a handful to test. They suddenly now prefer the bluegrass, and even will walk up to me to start eating it before I've finished loading the hay box! It smells so good I MYSELF wishh I could eat it.
I paid a total $27 with shipping for 25lbs. My local pet supply carries Oxbow timothy for $9 for 40 OUNCES. Clearly the savings was overwhelming.
They have the Oxbow in 9lb bags for $25, so even in bulk the KMS hay is at least half the cost. The bluegrass is greener, softer and sweeter than Timothy Hay. Easier to vacuum up too
