Description: It's a spinning hay and vegtable dispenser for rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.

Your pets will spin it around trying to get to their hay or treats.

Helps keep food off the cage floor.

Can be used three different ways, it can sit on the stand, hung from a wire cage by the stand, or taken off the stand to let it roll around like a ball.

It's expoxy coated which makes it easy to wash.

Pros: Keeps hay off of the floor. Easy to tell when more is needed.
Cons: If it's a con - piggies like to open door and eat inside

My piggies have learned how to open the door. It's fun to watch them attempt to open it. They get excited when they get fresh hay.

Pros: Keeps hay off of the ground
Cons: The door flops open easily, therefore preventing the thing from spinning. As well, if hay sticks out, it stops it from spinning, but if hay doesn't stick out, it's too hard for the pigs to get at!

Not overly impressed...in theory it is a great product, however it doesn't work as it should

Pros: keeps straw/hay neat and cage tidy
Cons: mentioned above (without trying myself) door may open easily, or hay/straw may stop spinning, does not allow cavy to play with

using this does not allow cavies to use the hay as bedding or to hide/play with (as all cavies love to do)

Pros: Keeps hay and treats neat and off the floor
Cons: Difficult for the pigs to get to the hay if it's not packed to the brim

It might work better with less 'stemmy' hay than I currently have, but I found that it only worked well when it was filled completely. The pigs couldn't get to the hay as it ran out and got less compressed, which happens pretty quick with my lot. I use it just for treats like grass now.

Pros: Flexibility in usage/mounting in cage
Cons: limit to amount of hay that can fit in it

My girls love their hay ball better than their hay manger. My cage is too small right now for them to have hay to run in without the lots of soiling, so i love the hay ball, and they always eat all the hay out of there first before their manger. When Godiva was little enough, she also thought underneath it was the best place to catch a nap.

Pros: Entertains the piggies
Cons: Difficult for them to reach hay/veggies, and door doesn't close

I use this ball occasionally to put veggies in for my pigs, and it keeps them busy longer than if I just put the veggies in the bowl, but it can be difficult for them to reach the veggies.

Breeding animals now in case there are no animals in the future is like contributing as much to global warming as you can now, in case there will be an ice age in the future. We need to focus on the problems that are here right now -- like overpopulation and global warming, and less on things that might happen.

Pros: Keeps cage more tidy then the manger.
Cons: Doesnt spin fully due to hay sticking out.

It is much neater than the hay manger. Pigger likes it alot. Wish it would spin fully. I hooked it to the side of the cage so it wouldnt get knocked over. Between that and the hay sticking out, it doesnt spin fully. I have not had troubles with the door yet.
