Pros:
extra vit added, can be bought in huge packages which make it much cheaper
Cons:
1 kg bags are very expensive
My piggies love it. It's the best pellets I can get here. I mix these pellets with Cavia select to add more roughage and vitamin to their diet. They will eat everything.
I always order large bags (2.5kg) to save money. It's one of the most expensive feeds in the Netherlands

Chinchi is greatly missed

Pros:

Plain pellets, so your pig won't be able to pick out favourite bits. Has a very high vitamin C content.

Cons:

Possible neg? contains luzerne
After 6 months, you've got to keep an eye out on how much calcium your guinea pig eats (possible risk of bladder & kidney stones.)
For this reason it's advised not feed alfafa (high calcium content) based pellets for adults. I'm assuming that luzerne is alfalfa. I just don't know how much is actually in Hope Farms pellets.
That said, Phoebe likes them a lot. And I don't have to worry about her missing anything essential. She's a really picky eater when it comes to pellets.
