Aubiose is derived from the soft core of the hemp plant - a fast growing annual, cultivated principally for the manufacture of paper. The hemp is grown organically in the Champagne Region of France, in an ideal climate, and monitored by experts. Once the hemp is harvested, its by-product is graded and thoroughly dust extracted.

I paid $15 for 135 l. of aubiose. It has helped so much on Bubbles' respiratory problems after I changed.
And on top of it all aubiose is more absorbant than any other bedding that I have tried.

On the pack is indicated that it can cause digestion problems (the "tubes" after the stomach _ English is not my mother tongue, sorry) in horses, and I heard someone tell that a lot of her piggies died after using Aubiose (they stopped dying when changed to wood chips again).
