Pros:

it looks interesting to us humans! Carrot sticks work well, but the pigs just walk past and grab them - they don't play with the toy.
Cons:
sadly, my pigs weren\'t that interested, though I have never thought to try hay inside.

A couple of my pigs actually played with this, Delmar would drag it around the cage, but he's kind of odd, haha.
They've had it for years with no problems, if it caused death and injury it seems they would have taken it off the market.

Pros:
cute, makes it slightly more difficult to get the treats
Cons:
doesnt bounce back on towels!
I fill this with either parsley or endive usually, and the gp's just get to pulling it out. Its not too much of a challenge for them but it adds a bit of interest. My boys are starting to recognise the sound of the bell as treat time, but not as much as the sound of the fridge opening! I have found that it doesnt bounce back on towels.
How does it cause death?

Pros:

Keeps the pigs active, makes snack time more interesting.
Cons:
Some pigs don't care for it.
My girls love this toy infact they have even squabbled over it. I usually stuff it with hay before I leave for school and veggie sticks at snack time in the evening.

Pros:

They love toys with bells.
Cons:
Girls haven't figured it out.
My big boy came with one when He was adopted. He and Sno pig love it. Harrykins broadsides it and Sno pig sits back and waits for the treats to fly out of it so he can grab one.
My girls have not yet managed to get the treats out of it.
So I have one who loves it, one who likes the treats that come out of it and two who are frustrated by it.

Pros:

Pigs need to make a little more effort to get their treats
Cons:
The way the bottom screws on I can't stuff hay into it, only soft veggies like parsley.
I have one of the hanging ones (looks similar but the holes are at the bottom) and my pigs seem to really like it. I stuff it full of parsley and they go nuts over it. I'll even sometimes hear them ringing the bell when it's empty.

I put treats in it and my piggies didn't want anything to do with it. I took it out of their cage.

My pigs were not interested in it...

I've tried putting hay and treats in this, but if you put hay in, it hardly moves. When theres treats inside, they just take the treats and go without interacting with it! lol

doesnt stay up on towels or blankets, doesnt bounce
It just upset my piggies that they couldnt get their lettuce out. They struggled to get their noses in the holes and it looked cruel, not fun -- so i took it out. It made me feel bad for my piggies desperately trying to get their veggies out, it didnt look fun.

Pros:

Pigs like to throw it around
Cons:
chain is deadly
If you have it on the chain hanging it from the cage, take it off the chain. It comes off too easily and has caused death in many pigs. It's safe if left on the ground. My pigs love to throw it around.
